The soft whispering of the winds
The gentle sway of the branches
The faint chirping of the birds
He is beckoning
Come, my child
Stop
Rest
Be still
Know that I am God
I am enough
I am all you need
Abide in Me
I will give you rest for your soul
I will give you peace that surpasses all understanding
I will give you joy despite your circumstances
Call on my name
The King of Kings
The Prince of Peace
The Holy one
I am

Beautiful! Reminds me of He was, He is and always will be. I still really struggle with the ” be still” part…..guessing that is why it is there, as it is not easy! Thank yo so much!

YES! I also struggle greatly with the the “be still” part. This poem actually came to me as I was practicing this “be still” part outside one day. Suddenly, the sounds of the birds and the wind came into focus and I was able to just feel His presence. It is often lost in the hubbub of my daily grind with seven small children at home. Yet, I know it is SO important to find these moments to “be still” and KNOW that He is God…yesterday, today, and tomorrow…Thanks for stopping by, Rick!

Nice version of “I am” and not “I’m”. Good one…
