I am

The soft whispering of the winds

The gentle sway of the branches

The faint chirping of the birds

He is beckoning

Come, my child

Stop

Rest

Be still

Know that I am God

I am enough

I am all you need

Abide in Me

I will give you rest for your soul

I will give you peace that surpasses all understanding

I will give you joy despite your circumstances

Call on my name

The King of Kings

The Prince of Peace

The Holy one

I am

    1. YES! I also struggle greatly with the the “be still” part. This poem actually came to me as I was practicing this “be still” part outside one day. Suddenly, the sounds of the birds and the wind came into focus and I was able to just feel His presence. It is often lost in the hubbub of my daily grind with seven small children at home. Yet, I know it is SO important to find these moments to “be still” and KNOW that He is God…yesterday, today, and tomorrow…Thanks for stopping by, Rick!
